Paris Downtown Boxing Gym Brings Home Trophies

Jackson, Tenn.–Paris Downtown Boxing Gym attended a two day tournament in Jackson and brought home some trophies. The team of seven was able to secure four fights over Friday and Saturday nights.

Christopher Binkley kicked off the tournament against a seasoned fighter. His opponent was awarded the win by split decision.

Next up was Max Harrison, he was awarded the win by spilt decision.

Ryan Foster stopped his opponent in the first round and won by Technical Knockout.

Shamaya Humphreys was  awarded a Technical Knockout in the first round after she gave her opponent three eight counts.

Ryan and Max both received recognition and additional trophies for being the best in the Intermediate and Pee Wee divisions. Coach Derik Moon received  a plaque of recognition for his time, dedication, and accomplishments.

Coach Moon was very pleased with everyone’s performance and said, “I am excited that these fighters got to experience their first fights in front of family and friends and I am proud of each of them.
