
Paris, Tenn.–This year’s Spooktacular will move to Eiffel Tower Park in Paris Saturday with all the activities the event is known for, plus some new ones.
This year’s Spooktacular will be held Saturday, October 30, is sponsored by the city of Paris and its Parks and Recreation Department and organized by KPAC Director Rhonda Stanton. Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce CEO Travis McLeese said the event “simply outgrew downtown. It just keeps getting bigger every year.” Historically, the event has been held in downtown Paris.
Spooktacular will be held from 1-4 p.m. It will feature a Spooktacular Halloween Trail through the park’s walking trails with a Fantasy Land and a Fright Land. Other activities include a Monster Dance Party, puppet show, and plenty of games and prize, and pumpkin carving contest.
The annual costume contest will be held all afternoon, with registration at 1 p.m. The first contest, for children from birth to age 3 is set for 1:30 p.m., followed by ages 4-7 at 2 p.m.; ages 8-11 at 2:30 p.m.; ages 12-14 at 3 p.m.; and family/groups at 3:30 p.m.
