Troy, Tenn.–Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another and with that in mind, the Obion County Central High School student population is wearing purple today to show sympathy for those affected by the passing of Union City High School Senior Julianne Becton in an automobile accident Sunday.
In a Facebook post, OCCHS officials said, “UC, we understand. Our students had the idea to wear purple today to show support during such a sad time. Please know that our students and staff are holding you all close in our thoughts and prayers.”
