Hazel, Ky.–The quaint city of Hazel, Ky., may be on the way to the National Historic Registry.
A meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, at the Hazel Baptist Church Family Life Center to discuss the possibility of Hazel being added to the National Historic Registry.
Hazel sits near the Tennessee-Kentucky State Line and is known for the dozens of antique and art shops along its main drag, not to mention good restaurants.
Mayor Scooter Pascall said, “This could be a big step toward revitalization of our town. Hope to see you there.”
By now if your property or business has already been declared historic, he said, you should have received a letter explaining the process of this meeting. If you have any questions or concerns we encourage you to come and ask questions during the presentation.
