Paris, Tenn.–Henry County Sheriff Josh Frey has announced that retired K9 Deputy Cisco has passed away.

Frey said Deputy Cisco passed away at the home of his handler Sgt. Wayne Fuqua.

Cisco made quite a name for himself during his time with the department. He started working as a Deputy K9 in 2011 and worked until he retired in October of 2018.

During his time with the department, Cisco tracked over 65 wanted persons and/or missing persons.

Frey said, “He was a great asset to citizens of Henry County and surrounding areas. He will be greatly missed.”
