Paris, Tenn.–A Paris man will appear in Henry County Circuit Court Tuesday on charges of kidnapping, drug trafficking, domestic assault, tampering with evidence, theft, and drug charges after his arrest Friday by Henry County Sheriff’s deputies.
Corey Capps, age 31, was arrested at Swiss Villa Apartments on the felony kidnapping, domestic assault and probation violation charges.
According to the report, Cpl. Dalton Watson found Capps hiding in the bathroom when motel management opened the door of Capps’ room. Watson then found some 10 grams of meth in the bottom of the toilet along with open baggies and a syrine near the sink in the room.
Deputies also noted there was a stolen black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle in the parking lot in front of the room.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Capps is also wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service on drug charges.
