Paris, Tenn.–Earlier this week Paris Board of Public Utilities employees met with Groves Electrical Services and Fisher Arnold for a pre-construction meeting for the Eagle Creek Substation project. Construction is expected to start in the next few weeks and completion of the new substation is expected by Fall 2022. Completion of this new substation will serve as a second delivery point to Paris BPU from Tennessee Valley Authority helping to create a redundant feed and aid in having a loop transmission feed for parts of Henry County, resulting in increased reliability for our customers.
