Union City, Tenn.–An Obion County 18-year-old has been arrested after a string of break-ins in multiple vehicles in the Woodland Mills area. He had been under house arrest when the break-ins occurred.
The Obion County Sheriff’s Office arrested Cole Tucker and is being held without bond following his arraignment this morning at General Sessions Court. His next court appearance is October 12.
The Obion County Sheriff’s Office responded to three different residences in the Woodland Mills area Monday morning with all three complainants stating their vehicles had been broken into and that purses and all the contents were stolen.
Deputies said, “Luckily, one of the victims was able to supply investigators with security camera footage of the perpetrator entering 2 vehicles on his property, and Mr. Cole Leslie Tucker became the top suspect.”
After a search warrant at Tucker’s residence revealed contents belonging to each victim, he was arrested and charged with four counts of Burglary.
Tucker is also on the list of defendants to have his case heard at the next term of the Grand Jury, which is scheduled to begin on October 5th, for multiple counts of Theft and Burglary. Tucker was on a House Arrest order at the time of the crimes committed over the weekend.
