Dyersburg, Tenn.–Friday around 6:00 p.m., Dyersburg police responded to Advance America, 2450 Lake Road, in reference to an armed robbery. Officers arrived and were informed that a man entered the business armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene on foot from the back door of the business with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Dyersburg Police have released a surveillance photo of the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5’9-5’11, 130-150 lbs., wearing khaki pants, gray sweatshirt, baseball cap, boots, and a face mask covering. DPD K9 was called to the scene and the K9 lost the track of the suspect in the area of Jamestown Road.
