Paris, Tenn.–The Brentwood Bruins came into Henry County Friday night and found tough going for the first half but came back in the second to win by a score of 21 to 14. The Patriots scored first at the 1:45 mark of the first quarter when Ryan Damron connected with Jayce Kendall for a 48 yard catch and run for the touchdown. Gavin Lyndsey completed the PAT to give the Patriots the 7-0 lead. Damron would complete a second touchdown pass to Norman Duncan with 8 seconds to go in the first half for a 15 yard touchdown. Once again Lyndsey would complete the PAT to allow the Patriots to go to the locker room at half time leading 14-0.
But the Bruins would come back in the 3rd quarter with Jackson Lowe running 5 yards to cut the lead to 14-6. They would complete the PAT to trail 14-7 at the 8:14 mark in the third quarter. Six minutes later the Bruins would complete an 89 yard pass completion and run for a touchdown. THe PAT would be completed and give the Bruins the tie at 14-14 as the third quarter would end. White would complete another touchdown pass of 24 yards in the final quarter to take the lead 21-14.
Brentwood would pickup 231 yards passing and 83 rushing while the Patriots had 110 passing and 141 rushing. The loss for the Patriots takes their record to 1-3 on the season.
