Football Homecoming festivities will begin Monday at Union City Schools, running throughout the week and culminating with the crowning of a queen at Friday night’s Tornado game against Houston County.
There will be dress-up theme days each day, with students on all three campuses encouraged to participate.
Students may wear their best 90s attire on Monday, while Tuesday will be Neon Day. They may choose either sports or nerdy outfits on Wednesday, with Thursday reserved for Fictional Character Day.
Friday is designated as Crazy Spirit Day.
The traditional Senior Walk, breakfast and group photo are also scheduled for Friday morning before a system-wide pep rally is held at 1:15.
UCHS students will be a part of mini assemblies each day and enjoy such activities as a scavenger hunt, eating competitions, Union City Idol, and trivia.
The 2021 football homecoming queen will be crowned in halftime ceremonies of the game, with class princesses also recognized.
