Per the Humphreys County Sheriff’s Office:
**TETANUS and HEPATITIS A vaccines**
If you were in the flood waters you will need to receive a tetanus shot if it’s been more than five years since your last vaccine.
If you experience FAST onset of gastrointestinal symptoms (vomiting, diarrhea) you may need a Hepatitis A shot.
Both are available at the shelters located at First Baptist Church and Church of Christ in Waverly from 8:00am to 5:00pm through Friday.
HIGHWAY 70 IS NOW CLOSED TO THRU-TRAFFIC BETWEEN WAVERLY AND MCEWEN THROUGH FRIDAY, AUGUST 27 PER HUMPHREYS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE AND TDOT.
