Camden, Tenn.–The City of Camden is in the process of applying for parks and recreation grant that would create a Camden-Benton County Farmers Market & Events Complex.
The grant is being sought through the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation’s Recreation Resources Division.
The grant application will focus on a portion of the development of the Camden-Benton County Farmers Market & Events Complex near the fairgrounds. The City of Camden is submitting a joint application with the County for the construction of a farmers market pavilion and parking facilities.
Benton County and Camden officials are asking for the community’s input on the proposed development.
