
Martin, Tenn.–Do you love your 80’s music? The Tennessee Soybean Festival will be the place to be with Bret Michaels headlining this year’s Festival in downtown Martin. Michaels was the lead singer for the group Poison and he will close out the last night of the festival, September 11.
Michaels’ performance will be at 9 p.m. and Bohemian Queen, a Queen tribute band, will be the opening act at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and $25, on sale now at tnsoybeanfestival.org.
According to the Festival website, several other tribute bands will perform through the week, including tributes to Kool & The Gang, Journey, Prince, Beatles, and Johnny Cash.
Other events and activities through the week include a Soybean Voice contest in which the winners can win $1,000 cash; Street Fair, Dog Show, Sidewalk Sales, BBQ contests, Battle of the Bands, Truck-Tractor Pull and much much more. The annual parade will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 7.
The 27th Tennessee Soybean Festival is from September 4-11.
