Paris, Tenn.–Breely Peirpoint of Big Sandy has been chosen to play in the USA Softball All-American Games which will take place August 13-15, 2021, in Oklahoma City at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium.

Peirpoint is currently an eighth grader and honor student at Lakewood Middle School in Paris.  She is a multi-sport athlete, playing both softball and basketball.  Born in 2008, Peirpoint has played travel ball since 2016 and currently plays for the Tennessee Thunderbolts.  She is a team player and strives to always do her best.

You will find her playing a very solid defense at 2nd, outfield and in the pitcher’s circle. She keeps her team going both on the field and in the dugout.  Peirpoint is one of only 360 12U players in the country to be chosen to compete in the USA Softball All-American games.  Being selected is a very great honor, one that distinguishes its participants as some of the best players in the country.  For these USA Softball All-American teams, players attend a tryout in their specific region and are picked based on their performance.  Peirpoint will be playing for one of the three teams of the Southeast region.

For teams of this region, girls are chosen from the states of Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, and South Carolina. Breely is very excited about this opportunity and plans on a championship win to bring back to the Southeast region. This team will be coached by former collegiate players Heather Cole and Anna Nickel.
