
Huntingdon, Tenn.–Even more baitfish were released into the Carroll County 1000 Acre Recreational Lake today.
Thanks to the TWRA, 20,000 Golden Shiners were released into the lake, with County Mayor Joseph Butler, Huntingdon Mayor Dale Kelley, other local officials and fishermen were there for the fish release.
A few days ago, approximately 12,500 threadfin shad were released on Tuesday at the Carroll County Thousand Acre Recreational Lake.
The threadfin shad were paid for by the Carroll County Chamber Fish Care Account. As soon as more funds are secured, more orders for threadfin shad will be made.
