South Fulton, TN– Several local high school and college football teams were on hand at South Fulton Baptist Church on Friday night for “A Night of Champions” with the featured speaker being former Auburn Tigers National Championship Head Coach Gene Chizik.
Chizik spoke to players and coaches about the importance of his faith, football, and having an impact on those around you. “I want them to know, that Christ is real and that they don’t have to do life by themselves,” said Chizik. “My hope and prayer on the way over here tonight was there’s some people who don’t know Christ, that come to know Christ tonight.”
Football programs represented at the event included Union City High School, Obion County Central High School, South Fulton High School, Fulton County High School (KY), Martin-Westview High School, and the University of Tennessee at Martin.
