Paris, Tenn.–First Christian Church Pastor Caren Teichmann, right, presented Henry County Student Resource Officer Michelle Brewer a check for $2000 for The Shed to help with the Back to School Bash supplies for the city and county and other needs throughout the year. Money was raised from the First Christian Church in Paris’ alternative online St. Patty’s Day Luncheon benefit with the proceeds benefiting the schools. The Shed is located at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and is provides free clothing, personal hygiene items and more to persons in need, no questions asked. A Back to School Bash will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 24 at the fairgrounds, to hand out free school supplies. (Lisa Fitzsimmons photo).
