Looking for Sunflowers?
It’s the time of year when people are looking for Sunflower fields–to gaze at or to photograph or both.
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) wants to help people find the fields of color in our area. There are several fields in our area which either are already blooming or are getting ready to bloom.
Here is a list of wildlife management areas that have sunflowers this year.
Big Sandy WMA- Benton/Henry Counties
Wolf River WMA- Fayette County
Parker Branch WMA- Gibson County
Horns Bluff Refuge- Crockett/Gibson Counties
Tigrett WMA- Dyer County
White Oak WMA- Hardin County
Cypress Pond Refuge- Decatur
And if you’re looking for the unique colored sunflowers pictured, then check out Camden WMA in Benton County. You will not be disappointed with these 58 acres of color.
