Henry, Tenn.–Another suspicious fire destroyed an abandoned structure today just outside of Henry.
The Henry Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched out to a structure fire Monday afternoon just after 12 PM to the area of 405 Mark I Drive.
Fire officials said one of their engines and one tanker responded with six firefighters to the scene to find an abandoned structure fully involved.
“Our team had to cut through a steel gate to gain access to the drive way and eventually located the fire roughly 300 yards off the roadway,” fire officials said. “This structure did not have power or gas going to it.”
The fire is considered suspicious and the investigation has been passed to the Henry Police Department.
