Cadiz, Ky.–A suspect in the investigation into the shooting deaths of two people in Cadiz has been apprehended in California.
Landon D. Stinson of Cadiz, Kentucky was located and arrested in Los Angeles, California Monday afternoon, July 5th.
Kentucky State Police had been seeking Stinson in the deaths of Mildred Faris and Matthew Blakeley, whose bodies were found earlier this week.
Detectives with Post 1 traveled to Los Angeles and interviewed Stinson in connection with the death investigation. He is being held at the Los Angeles County Jail on California charges.
Law enforcement officials also served Stinson with a Trigg County arrest warrant on the charge of Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Drug Unspecified).
The investigation is still ongoing at this time and is being led by Detective David Dick.
