Paris, Tenn.–The water leak at the Henry County Courthouse has been fixed and the courthouse will reopen tomorrow.
Henry County Mayor John Penn Ridgeway said the Paris Board of Public Utilities (BPU) workers found the source of the leak, which was in one of the older waterlines.
The courthouse was closed at 1 p.m. Wednesday so that BPU could find the source of the leak, which was flowing under the electrical transformer on the south side of the courthouse. “They diverted around the transformer for the new waterline,” Ridgeway said.
City and county workers will be at the courthouse tomorrow cleaning up the site of the repairs.
