Dyersburg police are investigating a shooting where a residence was struck multiple times by gunfire. Police responded to the 1100 block of Wheeler Street, on Friday morning, in reference to a report of a residence being struck by gunfire earlier in the morning.
Police discovered where at least five rounds struck the house, including one round that went through a window where it traveled through the home and impacted an interior wall. Four rounds impacted a brick wall of the house. Multiple people, including a child, were inside the residence at the time of the shooting. No injuries were reported.
