Paris, Tenn.–The two trees on the Henry County Courthouse lawn which were felled during Saturday evening’s strong storm were cut down and removed early Monday morning. Crews with H&B Tree Service were busy bright and early with the project. The huge oak tree that had already been slated for removal this week broke in half and fell onto a magnolia tree next to it on the southeast corner of the court square. The Oak Ridge Boys will be performing a free concert on that section of North Poplar Street in downtown Paris at 6 p.m. Thursday to kick of the Tennessee River Jam. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
