Paris, Tenn.–Alex Swayne and Ellie Koelling were busy Friday putting together the VIP goodie bags for next week’s Tennessee River Jam. They were just two of the many people who have been working behind the scenes to make the event a success. The four-day event will bring the Oak Ridge Boys, Darryl Worley, Diamond Rio and more to Paris and the lake area –27 musicians, 15 concerts, eight venues over four days, to be exact. Huts which will be used as hospitality areas have been delivered to Paris Landing State Park and fencing will be placed through the park on Wednesday. The ‘Jam’ will be kicked off Thursday night with a free concert in downtown Paris by the Oak Ridge Boys. Diamond Rio and Darryl Worley will perform Saturday at Paris Landing State Park. Paris-Henry County Chamber CEO Travis McLeese said the Chamber staff has been overwhelmed at the support the community has shown and how much they have pitched in to make the event a success. Schedules for the event are available at https://tnriverjam.com/ and in the current PARIS! Magazine. (Travis McLeese photo).
