Paris, Tenn.–Summer learning activities in the Henry County Schools included building and designing your own campsites–the safe way, without fire! They built tents around their own desks and used their creativity and imaginations to build their ‘campfires’ out of tissue paper. Once constructed the students wrote how they built their tent. Other activities during the week included performing a Readers Theater based on a folktale, building shapes, making their own butter and much more. (Henry County Schools photo).
