Paris, Tenn.–Gary and Nancy Morris of Paris, inventors of the Footbar® Walker, have been awarded the Today’s Caregiver Product Friendly award for 2021. Their device was designed as much for the caregiver as the patient.
The Caregiver Friendly® Awards are designed to celebrate products, services, books and media created with the needs of caregivers in mind.
They realized the toll caregiving was taking on two of their dear friends in 2014 and decided to do something to help them. “Now seven years later, to be chosen for a national award : THE TODAY’S CAREGIVER MAGAZINE’S Caregiver Friendly Product Award is a very encouraging and rewarding honor,” according to CEO Nancy Morris. “We soon realized the crisis that is out there and sought to provide a solution after seeing the assistance it provided for our friends. They encouraged us to get our patents and make the Footbar®Walker available to others like them. If truly revolutionized their lives. Winning last year during the COVID-19 epidemic was an honor but we are so happy to be chosen again and win for the 2nd year in a row. We are proud to bring attention to our company and Paris, TN once again.”
