Paris, Tenn.–Over $6,000 was raised for the Henry County Carl Perkins Center at its annual “Cheeseburger at Breakers” fundraiser. Director Carly Wheat said over 300 were in attendance and “the support was beyond words. All tables filled and standing room only at a fully packed, sold out event.”
Wheat said the staff continues to be amazed by how much the event grows every year. “Trust me, we could not continue our Prevention services without this support,” she said.
Paris Musician Randall French provided the entertainment.
Winners announced at the event were:
Henry County Carl Perkins Center Board Member of the Year: Rick Moody
Child Protective Investigate Team Member of the Year: Kay Peeler-Department of Children’s Services.
