Union City, Tenn.- Principal Jacob Cross has announced final plans for Union City High School’s upcoming commencement exercises.
The UCHS Class of 2021 will graduate Saturday at 8 p.m., at War Memorial Stadium.
Each of the 86 seniors was issued 10 tickets – four more apiece than was allotted last year. Those tickets may be given to family members, friends, or acquaintances of graduates. Persons will be admitted only if they have a ticket and must sit in a designated group of the particular graduate who gave them that ticket.
Chairs will be grouped into sets of 10 on the football field and clearly marked for each graduate’s party.
In case of rain, ceremonies will be moved indoors to the UC Civic Auditorium, where tickets will still be honored and required.
Entrances to War Memorial Stadium will be closed at 7:55 p.m., and no one will be allowed admittance after that time.
The ceremony will be live streamed on the Union City Schools Facebook page.
