
McKenzie, Tenn.–An experimental plane crashed on take off at the Carroll County Airport Saturday. The pilot–who is from Paris–was treated by the Emergency Medical Squad and reportedly sustained minor injuries.
McKenzie Fire & Rescue was called to the Airport at 4:51 p.m. on a report of a plane crash with the plane off the runway.
On arrival, the Fire & Rescue squad found the pilot, Carl Blevins of Paris, was out of the aircraft and being treated by EMS.
A check of the aircraft found no fire and no fluid leaks. The pilot reportedly lost power in the aircraft right before the crash.
