Paris, Tenn.–It was a perfect day for a parade.
The World’s Biggest Fish Fry Small Fry Parade was held in downtown Paris Saturday morning under sunny skies and with smiles all around. The event was postponed from last Saturday, when it was rained out.
It was a smaller parade than there have been other years, with nine entries. There originally were 14 signed up, but several couldn’t make the rescheduled date.
What the parade may have lacked in number of entries, it made up for in creative and colorful entries.
Winners were:
Best Marching Entry: TVCC preschool.
Best Decorated: Mason and Mollie Payne.
Most Original: Joe and Garrison Douglass.
Best Character/Costume: Liam Roberts Ava Wade, Isaiah and Walt Kee, Hays and Wade Hutson.
Best Decorated Bicycle/Tricycle: Ty Davidson.
