Martin, Tenn.–The Martin Police Department recently celebrated the retirement of Investigator Mark Rushing, who served the City of Martin for almost 19 years. According to Chief Don Teal, Investigator Rushing started his career at the Martin Police Department in 2002 as a Patrol Officer. He was promoted to the rank of Investigator in 2011 and worked in that capacity until his recent retirement. Mark graduated from Westview High School and has lived all of his life in Weakley County. Mark was a valued employee and officer and will be greatly missed at M.P.D.
