Paris, Tenn.–Because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Paris Police Department will not have an open to public program this year honoring officers and telecommunicators at Paris City Hall as has been held in the past.
Police Chief Ricky Watson said the department will still honor officers who have fallen in the line of duty and honor telecommunicators that serve Paris and Henry County.
“We would also like to acknowledge all of our Officers/Dispatchers that have demonstrated excellence in their everyday duties serving our community over the past year,” he said.
Watson said, “Please take time to thank those that put others before themselves every day. The Paris Police Department would like to thank all of our Officers and Dispatchers for their service to our community.”
