Martin, Tenn.–Despite the wind and rain, the first annual Northwest Tennessee Arts Festival was a big success, drawing crowds who were entertained by the music, dance, theatre and the visual arts on display in Martin. The event was co-sponsored by the UT Martin Music Department, Weakley Arts Can and Weakley County Schools. School officials said, “We had to overcome rain and wind but creative folks find a way.
