Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Carl Perkins Center held its annual Child Abuse Prevention Month Reception and Proclamation Signing on Monday morning at Henry County Carl Perkins Center.
Henry County Mayor John Penn Ridgeway declared April 2021 as Child Abuse Prevention Month in Henry County. The Proclamation was signed by Ridgeway and Paris City Mayor Carlton Gerrell, who signed earlier.
This year’s theme is Light up the Darkness: Shine a light on Child Abuse and “Be the Light”.
In attendance were Center staff, John Penn Ridgeway, Judge Vicki Snyder, Tas Smith with CASA, Tomorrow’s Hope staff, Henry County Carl Perkins Center Board Members, Department of Children’s Services investigators, Henry County Sheriff’s Office investigators, and Paris Police Department Investigators.
