
Paris, Tenn.–Entries from several students from Harrelson School in Puryear have been selected to go on to compete at the state level in the Junior Duck Stamp Conservation and Design Program’s annual art and conservation message contest.
Best in Show was awarded to Chloe McElroy.
Judges included Henry County Schools Director Dr. Leah Watkins, Harrelson Principal Maria Cox, and Joan Howe, Refuge Ranger at the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge. The entries are on display at the school.
All of the 15 first-place entries will move on to the state competition. Judging for that will take place March 25 at the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge headquarters in Springville.
