Paris, Tenn.–A Springville man was killed in one-vehicle rollover accident Thursday afternoon in Henry County.
According to the preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the accident claimed the life of Thomas Burgess, age 56, of Springville.
The accident occurred at 4:21 p.m. on Hwy. 69S.
According to the report, Mr. Burgess was driving a 1990 Chevrolet Silverado westbound on Hwy. 69. His vehicle traveled off the north side of the roadway, began to overturn, and came to final rest on its left side. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
Henry County Assistant Coroner Matthew McClure pronounced Mr. Burgess deceased at the scene.
