McKenzie, Tenn.–Trees were planted Monday at Tennessee College of Applied Technology in McKenzie in honor of two souls who were lost in January: HVAC Instructor Terry Wilson and Springville student Anthony Mastrominico.
Wilson passed away in January due to COVID-19. A Willow Oak was planted in his honor, with his wife Starla, daughter Madison, and Starla’s parents in attendance to witness the planting of his remembrance tree. Wilson lived in Greenfield.
A Silky Dogwood tree was planted to honor Mastrominico, an Industrial Maintenance/HVAC Student, who also passed away in January. His parents, Debra & John David Longest, were in attendance to witness the planting of his remembrance tree.
Both trees will be marked with a remembrance plaque. The ceremony was streamed live on TCAT McKenzie’s Facebook Page. School officials said, “TCAT McKenzie will always remember the impact these two gentlemen made while they were here with us.”
