Union City, Tenn.–Tickets for Union City’s Tuesday night District 13A Tournament semifinals games will be sold in advance on both Monday and Tuesday at UCHS.
Tickets may be purchased on a cash-only basis for $6 each and will be available from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
The top-seeded UC girls will play the winner of the Bradford-South Fulton quarterfinal game Tuesday at 5 p.m. The No. 1 Tornado boys will face the victor of the early round Greenfield-Dresden encounter Tuesday night at 7:45.
Doors will open at 4:15 p.m. in preparation for the girls’ game, and then at 7 p.m., prior to the boys’ contest.
The gymnasium will be cleared of fans and cleaned between games – per TSSAA coronavirus protocols. Fans must purchase two tickets in advance to stay for both sessions, and no tickets will be available at the door.
Union City Schools officials will make around 350 tickets available to Tornado fans during those aforementioned times on Monday and Tuesday. Opposing schools will be given 100 tickets.
TSSAA and TACA passes will be honored.
Both Tornado teams will play again at home on Wednesday in either the championship or consolation round of both the girls’ and boys’ tournaments. Tickets for those games will be available at UCHS on the day of the game and also must be bought in advance.
Times of those games will not be determined until after the semifinals are completed.
