No School Thursday At UC; Distance Learning Friday

WEATHER UPDATE

Due to continued hazardous road conditions caused by the latest round of winter weather, there will be no school Thursday (Feb. 18) in the Union City School System.

Friday will be a live distance learning day for both students and faculty.

Grades 5-12 will be a full day of virtual learning with each student’s regular teacher(s).

UC Elementary School students (K-4^th Grade) will participate in distance learning when possible with students.

All school employees should report by 8:30 a.m. Friday.

Class schedules are as follows:

                           1^st period — 8:45-9:30 a.m.

                           2^nd period — 9:35-10:20 a.m.

                           3^rd period — 10:25-11:10 a.m.

                           4^th period — 11:15 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

                           Lunch break — 12:00-12:35 p.m.

                           5^th period — 12:35-1:20 p.m.

                           6^th period — 1:25-2:10 p.m.

                           7^th period — 2:15-3:00 p.m.

Attendance will be taken via TEAMS.

Administrators from both UC High School and UC Middle School will be at their respective schools Thursday from 1-4 p.m., if a student needs to come to pick up a computer for Friday’s work.

Additionally, Parent-Teacher Conferences at Union City High School, scheduled for Thursday, have been postponed to a later date.
