Tiptonville, Tenn.–The snow and ice in our area has been hazardous–and cold–but it also has created scenes of great beauty. Case in point is Reelfoot Lake State Park, where park officials posted photos of tonight’s sunset. In a Facebook post, they said, “10° outside and the frozen lake looks like no man’s land. Please remember, it is not safe to walk out onto the lake. Some sections may not be as thick as others and the snow adds a lot of weight to the ice.” Forecasts call for another round of extreme weather coming into the area Thursday.
