Benton County Offices will be operating on a very limited schedule for Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
County Mayor Brett Lashlee said ONLY THE COUNTY COURTHOUSE Offices (Business and Judicial) will be open to conduct business from 9AM to 3PM.
“This is a very busy time of the year for our Trustee’s Office receiving tax-payments. We ask if your county business can wait until better weather conditions, then please hold off if possible as we do not need to compound the traffic concerns from the snow and ice,” he said.
Courthouse offices will open late (9AM) so they can prepare the sidewalks and parking lot. With the impending inclement weather predicted, they will close at 3PM.
Offices will be on limited staffing so expect to wait at times, he said.
If you can conduct Property Tax payments or License & Tag renewals online, please try to utilize our county webpage for those services.

“We anticipate closure on Thursday (18th) and possibly Friday (19th), but we will inform the public later on Wednesday,” he said. “Please be considerate of the safety conditions and if county business can be delayed until better weather, we highly encourage it. As always, we greatly appreciate your cooperation, understanding, and patience during these weather conditions.”
