Paris, Tenn.–On this Valentine’s Day weekend, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office is feeling the love from dozens of pre-school children who created over 350 hearts with messages on them that have been hung on the walls at the sheriff’s office, as well as at the offices for School Resource Officers at Henry County High School and Rhea Elementary.
The project was organized by the Wives of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
Kim Smith said students from Rhea School’s Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd grade, Molly Hart’s day care, and the Tennessee Valley Community Church pre-school participated.
“We had over 350 hearts of all sizes to hang,” she said. “So much fun and the officers really stopped and thanked us as we were hanging them.”
Smith said, “It’s our hope that EVERY officer feels the love that went into these hearts made by local children!! What fun we had hanging them especially our ‘little helpers’!!”
