
Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Emergency Management Agency has issued an alert for severe weather due in the area.
Henry County is under a Winter Storm Warning beginning noon Sunday through 12AM Tuesday.
A wind chill advisory is in effect for northern parts of the West Tennessee by later tonight into Sunday morning. Wind chill values will fall into the single digits at times through Wednesday. Below zero wind chills are possible across mainly northern areas of the West Tennessee Monday and Tuesday mornings.
A significant winter storm will bring snow, sleet, freezing rain and low wind chills to West Tennessee Sunday afternoon into Monday night. Unprotected Water pipes could freeze. Another round of significant winter weather is likely Wednesday into Thursday. Monitor weather conditions closely and make sure to bring pets indoors if possible and check on friends and neighbors who may live alone.
