Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is urging citizens to exercise caution while traveling.
Sheriff Josh Frey said, “While the highways in Henry County appear to be improving, there are many iced areas and iced bridges which causes an extreme risk while traveling. Most of the county’s secondary roads are completely iced over.”
The Sheriff’s Office is requesting motorists to please stay completely off the secondary roads if at all possible.
Henry County is expecting more winter weather to move into our area Sunday and Monday which will compound the issues of traveling on the county’s roadways. Again, please exercise caution on main highways and please do not attempt to travel on the secondary roads.
