Dresden, Tenn.–Due to inclement weather and unsafe road conditions, the Weakley County Courthouse will be closed on Thursday, February 11th.
Weakley County Mayor Jake Bynum said, “Dangerously cold temperatures are expected to continue over the next few days – please be mindful and utilize all necessary safety precautions.”
All courthouse offices, Department of Finance, Ned Ray McWherter Weakley County Library, Election Commission, Weakley County Office on Aging, and the Sharon Senior Citizens Center will also be closed. The UT Agriculture Extension, American Job Center in Dresden, and the Health Department will also be closed.
“We look forward to resuming normal operations and serving you in safer conditions. Stay safe!,” Bynum said.
