
Dover, Tenn.–Less than two weeks ago Stewart County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two subjects in the jail parking lot for drugs when they came to bond their friends out of jail.
Now, it’s happened again with two subjects who arrived from Henry County to bond another inmate out of jail.
On Monday February 8th Deputies and a K-9 officer arrested a female subject for possession of meth. Joyce Johnson, age 29, of Dover had it concealed in her pants.
According to the press release, there were two other subjects–Shannon Outlaw, age 44 of Dover, who was the driver and who had warrants on file in Stewart County and also an arrest warrant on Herman Wallace of Houston County and he was detained for pickup.
Sheriff Frankie Gray said on Tuesday February 9th, Joyce Johnson’s son’s dad Anthony Peters and his cousin Timothy Jones showed up from Henry County at the Sheriffs Office to bond Johnson out of jail. K-9
While Deputy Aaron Page was speaking with them, he detected a smell of marijuana coming from their vehicle. A search was made and meth and drug paraphernalia was found in the vehicle and both were arrested.
Timothy Jones, age 27, of Paris, is being held on $5,000 bond for various charges and Anthony Peters, age 31, of Camden, is being held on $2,500 bond.
