Dresden, Tenn.–On the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Monday, the outdoor classroom at Dresden Elementary received a facelift, thanks to the Sigma Phi Epsilon members from UTM and the Presidential Inaugural Committee of Weakley County. School officials were looking for a a project and reached out to Samantha Smith Goyret of the NWTN Local Food Network for ideas. Due to Goyret’s work with the Farm to School initiative she was aware of the goal of making the outdoor space usable once again. Ideus and the Presidential Inaugural Committee of Weakley County along with Sigma Phi Epsilon members from UTM spent a couple of hours clearing and hauling debris.
