Murray, Ky.–A two-vehicle crash in Murray claimed the life of a Dexter man Monday. Three others were transported to the local hospital with injuries.
Jerry Lassiter, age 73, was pronounced deceased on scene.
At approximately 11:10 AM Monday, the Murray Police Department responded to
the intersection of State Route 94 West and Robertson Road for a two-vehicle injury collision.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with Beau Maness, age 22, of Murray who said he was driving northbound on Robertson Road South and proceeded through the intersection with State Route 94W when a vehicle driving east on 94 struck him.
Patricia Lassiter, also age 73, who was a passenger in Lassiter’s vehicle, said they were eastbound on 94 when a vehicle pulled out from Robertson Road and struck their vehicle.
Three people were transported to the emergency room: Patricia Lassiter, a juvenile passenger in the Lassiter vehicle and Beau Maness.
The Murray Police Department was assisted on scene by the Murray Fire Department, the Murray Calloway County Ambulance Service, Calloway County Emergency Management, Kentucky State Highway Department, and the Calloway County Coroners Office.
