
Paris, Tenn.–A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information on multiple arson fires which have occurred in Henry County since January 7.
As we have been reporting, the TBI and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the fires, which now number 13. They have been occurring in the Mansfield, Springville and Oakland areas of the county.
Most of the fires have been set on the roadside and wooded areas with two vacant structure fires. There has also been one garage fire on Shady Grove Rd. and one barn fire on Carl Chandler Rd. during this time period.
Local volunteer fire departments have been busy fighting the blazes, with several occurring on the same nights.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking people to report any suspicious vehicles or activity.
Up to a $5,000.00 reward is being offered for information by calling the Tennessee Arson Hotline at 1-800-762-3017.
